A challenge that faces all industries these days is differentiation. When AO Smith was faced with the same challenge of creating a differentiated wall mounted gas water heater for the Chinese market, we were happy to assist.

A thorough analysis of competitor products and consumer preferences led to the idea of designing a more user friendly and ‘soft’ consumer orientated product. This was unlike competitor models and one that offered additional benefits for the consumer.

Bantum encouraged out of the box thinking and bold initiatives in the design process. And although, a more conservative end approach was adopted, the final product gave the water heating industry a fresh look and invigorated presence.
